Xignite Prepares to Change the Game in Financial Market Data
San Mateo, CA - June 6, 2011 - Xignite Inc, the leading cloud services provider of on-demand market data distribution technologies, , announced today that Al (Albert) Chang has joined its team as Vice President of Engineering. He will be reporting directly to the CEO, Stephane Dubois. With over two decades of experience, Chang will be instrumental in expanding Xignite's portfolio of ground-breaking and disruptive market data distribution technologies. Prior to Xignite, Chang spent five years serving as the Head of Engineering for Partner Solutions at Google. While there, he led and built a global engineering organization that enabled strategic partnerships, including AOL, Dell, T-Mobile, Virgin Media, Sony, and EchoStar by extending Google's core product offerings in search, ads, Android, apps, YouTube, and TV. Prior to Google, Chang served as Vice-President of Product Development at Advent Software for four years. There he led a large engineering team in the creation of integrated financial portfolio management, accounting, and client relationship solutions, which were based on an enterprise-ready, Web-based architecture. Chang also managed various strategic relationships, including SEI Investments, Allianz, and the acquisition of a custodial data reconciliation operation. Earlier, Chang co-founded TenFold Corporation, which in just six years grew to more than $90M in revenue, scaled from five employees to seven hundred employees, and went public. At TenFold, Chang held various Vice President-level positions in engineering and professional services. He also oversaw the effort to build and implement complex rules engines for mission-critical enterprise applications at Fortune 500 companies, such as Barclays Global Investors, JP Morgan Chase, and Allstate. Chang holds multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
